I love dragons and really wanted to include them in the story. But I faced a slight problem, a young child I know is sensitive to anything that can be perceived as scary and because at the time of Technically a Princess’ episodic release, it was audio only, I needed to find a way of including dragons without frightening the child. I started thinking about things that are the least threatening and somehow that led me to thinking of warm cinnamon rolls, and so the creation of Monty began to come to life.

Monty is a sensitive, gentle and kind dragon, with a very big heart.
